Mr. Bunn is an Associate in the Disputes, Compliance, and Investigations practice. He has over 12 years of banking experience with most of his work focused on BSA/AML, OFAC/Sanctions, and anti-fraud program development. He has been a System Administrator for multiple BSA/AML/OFAC systems where he was responsible for overseeing version upgrades, data reconciliation, system troubleshooting, system optimization, reporting/analytics, and ensuring sanctions screening lists were updated appropriately. Steven is also proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL) and has extensive experience in working with the data analytics tool QlikSense.
Prior to his work in fraud and AML he held roles in Deposit Operations where he fine-tuned processes by building out robotic process automation (RPA) scripts to perform repeatable tasks. Steven also served as a customer information subject matter expert on the bank’s conversion team where he ensured customer data was accurately imported during the conversion process for 10 mergers.
Mr. Bunn specializes in assisting financial institutions in developing and improving their BSA/AML/OFAC compliance programs. He has worked with a wide range of financial institution clients helping them strengthen their compliance programs through independent audit, system optimization, model validation, outsourced alert/EDD reviews, and updating program documents such as risk assessments, policies, and procedures.
