John Tamny is Founder and President of the Parkview Institute, editor of RealClearMarkets, senior fellow at the Market Institute, and Senior Economic Adviser to mutual fund firm Applied Finance Group. He frequently writes about the securities markets, along with tax, trade and monetary policy issues that impact those markets for a variety of publications including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and RealClearMarkets.
Tamny is the author of eight books. His latest is The Deficit Delusion: Why Everything Left, Right and Supply-Side Tell You About the National Debt Is Wrong. Tamny received his BA in political science at the University of Texas at Austin, and his MBA at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
