About Our Company What is a Bankers’ Bank? A bankers’ bank is a financial institution that provides financial services and support to community financial institutions but does not work with the general public. They offer a wide range of financial products and services that help community financial institutions compete with larger banking entities. Bankers’ banks are owned by community banks, but a community bank does not need to be a shareholder to utilize the bank’s services. Banker’s Banks, like First National Bankers Bank, will not originate loans to or gather deposits from the general public, thereby avoiding competition with their own customer banks. Who We Are In 1984, a group of community bankers came together to create a bankers’ bank, now First National Bankers Bankshares, Inc. and subsidiary companies (FNBB), to serve the needs of community financial institutions. At FNBB, we believe community banks are the cornerstone of this country because they are dedicated to supporting small business customers and meeting the economic needs of the markets they serve. FNBB is a trusted partner to our community bank shareholders and to our customers.
